Aim and Spirit of the school
Education of your child is a joint responsibility. We wish to inculcate in the tender mind of the child the important values of love, service and truthas our school emblem clearly indicates. Besides we are guided by the spirit of the constitution of our country.
The preamble to the constitution of our country states “ We the people of India, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:
JUSTICE, Social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and opportunity:
And to promote among them all FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation”
We aim at a value based education that would enable one to become a responsible citizen. The value based education is a process of growth. To be exact a five fold growth. That is Social Growth, Cultural Growth, Environmental growth, religious and Intellectual Growth.
1. Social Growth:
Social growth takes place by learning to relate to each other’s responsibility and with maturity. i.e.
· Education to love
· Education to forgive
· Education to peace
· Education to share
· Education to care
· Education to democracy
· Education to freedom
· Education to social justice
2. Cultural Growth:
Cultural growth takes place when the cultural legacy is preserved, purified, renovated and transmitted to posterity. This takes place through:
Education to love one’s culture Education to respect another’s culture Education to understand another’s culture education to find out the values in another’s cultural Education to share cultural values with another education to create value based cultural customs.
3. Environmental Growth:
Environmental Growth will takes place only when we realize that we too make up the environment. We are not an entity outside that environment. Preserving the environment is equal to preserving our own lives. To achieve this, the following is a must.
· Education to know the surrounding.
· Education to preserve and enrich the environment.
4. Intellectual growth
The intellectual growth is based on our fundamental belief that every child is meritorious. Spotting and nurturing talent is our commitment and therefore imbibing them with a positive attitude, life skill and academic excellence and an integral part of our commitment towards the intellectual growth of every child.
5. Religious Growth:
Religion shows the path traced out by God-filled men and women to reach God. Religion is “ Dharma” of a devout expression of a group of people following a “ guru” to reach the Supreme Being or Supreme spirit of Cosmic Consciousness. To achieve this, the following is needed.
· Education to respect all religions
· Education to faith in the creator who cares for all
· Education to realize that we are all God’s children
· Education to praise and thank the Creator in all vicissitudes of life.
